Introduction :
Considering students as the focal point, the Organization was established by seven school students on the occasion of Gudi Padwa in 1954.
Approach:
The institution has adopted the broad idea of providing educational facilities to the needy students and their overall development.
Vision :
To create a generation of intelligent, prosperous and civilized citizens. To create a healthy, patriotism society as envisioned by Swami Vivekananda.
To work without caste, religion and politics.
Field of Activity :
The organization mainly works in Chinchpokli, Satarasta, Byculla, Lalbaug and N.M. Joshi, known as ‘Girangaon’ in central Mumbai.
Membership :
Any student studying in class 5th and above can become a member of the organization. This is the only organization that offers lifetime membership for just One Rupee. There is no bar of any caste and religion to become members.
Member Family :
Today the organization has more than 14,000 members. Many of them are graduates, highly educated and are serving the society as doctors, professors, lawyers, engineers, journalists, artist and sportsman.
